My story

This adorable boy is Peanut. He is an 8-year-old chihuahua/Pomeranian mix and weighs 11.8 lb. Peanut is at a foster home, not at our shelter. His foster says "Peanut is the whole package. Great with kids--gentle, patient and happy to join in family life. Cat-friendly--calm and non-reactive. Dog-social--excited to meet other pups, but always friendly. People lover--eager to meet everyone with a warm wag. Excellent in the car--rides like a champ. Housetrained--manners included. Food motivated--making leash work and obedience a breeze." Peanut is going to make someone a wonderful little companion! Peanut is microchipped, vaccinated, neutered and healthy. He qualifies for our senior pet adoption fee of $200.
