My story

Fumos A17717848 lb. neutered male, approx 10 months old -Slightly nervous walking in the halls-Outside he did a few zoomies as soon as he was off leash-He’s awkward and unsure of everything. It’s like every single thing is brand new to him. He’ll need time and patience to navigate the world-He army crawls and ducks on occasion-The more time we spent together the more relaxed he became-Still unsure at times but super receptive to everything going on.-Once he relaxed he started to really enjoy pets! He even started giving kisses!-He eats treats occasionally but doesn’t seem super food motivated-He had no idea what to do with toys-He’s so sweet and gentle. He just needs to be shown patience and love.-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
