My story

ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Hana Age: 2 years old Gender: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo  Colour: Cream Weight: 14kg / 30.8lbs Microchipped: Yes   MY RESCUE STORY Hi there! I’m Hana. My story began on a farm, where I was tied up on a short leash and left to “guard” outside. Life was lonely and harsh, and on top of that, I had to care for my puppies with very little support. Thankfully, kind rescuers saw our situation and stepped in to help. My puppies have since found their forever homes, and now it’s finally my turn! I’m ready to leave the past behind and find a loving family of my own to cherish me the way I deserve.   MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) I’ve been neutered and have no known health issues.   MY PERSONALITY When you first meet me, you’ll instantly notice my elegant beauty and graceful presence. I carry myself with a calm, stable, and well-mannered temperament—everything that Jindos are so often praised for. While I can be a little shy at first, I remain gentle and docile around new people, and with just a bit of patience, my warm and loyal personality will shine through. Because of my neglected past, I’m still learning some leash manners, but with guidance and love, I’ll blossom into a wonderful walking companion. I’m also friendly with other dogs and enjoy being around them, always keeping my calm and balanced nature.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I can be a little shy with people at first, but don’t worry—I warm up quickly with a gentle approach. I’ll carefully take treats right from your hand, and before you know it, I’ll be leaning in for pets and affection. While I don’t have much experience with kids just yet, my sweet and gentle nature suggests I’m confident I’ll be good with slow and respectful introductions. I’m also okay with being picked up, which makes me even more huggable! Plus, I’m polite around food and don’t guard it from people.   With Dogs: I’m social and comfortable around dogs of all sizes, but I’m more of an independent spirit who prefers to do my own thing. I’m not usually the one to run up and initiate play, but I coexist peacefully and do very well with the dogs at the care facility. I shine best when I’m around calm, easygoing pups who respect my space and let me be myself. Sharing isn’t a problem for me either—I don’t guard my food against other dogs.   With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet so my reaction is unknown. Due to my calm personality, I may do well with other calm cats that are respectful of my space and with thoughtful and slow introductions.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a moderate energy level. I like to spend time outdoors, but after a walk session and soaking up some sunlight, I will happily snuggle up and rest indoors.    TRAINING & HABITS Due to my neglected, chained-up past, I didn’t get much practice walking on leash. I’m still learning, but with patience, kindness, and gentle guidance, I’m improving every day and becoming more confident on my walks. When I feel overwhelmed, I sometimes flatten myself to the ground, so calm and quiet places are much easier for me than loud, busy streets with lots of cars. For my safety, it’s very important that I’m always secured with a double-leash using both a harness and collar whenever I’m outside. On the bright side, I’m great at resting quietly in my kennel, and I already know how to potty both indoors and outdoors. With time and a consistent routine, I’ll naturally transition to preferring outdoor potty only.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me grow and become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a fun, structured, and safe environment where I can settle and come out of my shell. A family that enjoys indoor & outdoor activities and spending quality time together. A family that can shower me with love and attention.  A family that is understanding of my neglected past and willing to guide me with patience while I learn the ropes of leash walking.    SPECIAL NOTES Because of my neglected, chained-up past, I’m still learning how to walk on a leash and adjust to the big world around me. I feel much more comfortable in calm, quiet environments, as loud noises and busy streets can scare me. To keep me safe, I must always be double-leashed (harness + collar) when outside and only off-leash in fully enclosed spaces. I get along well with respectful dogs and prefer calm companions. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, I promise to blossom into a loyal and devoted family member.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Hana’s YouTube Playlist ##2495516##
