My story

Marcel is a sweet, curious, and fun-loving kitten. Marcel loves to play with wand toys, pounce on anything that moves, and explore everything he can. When Marcel is done playing, he’s the first to curl up next to you for cozy snuggles, purring contentedly as he drifts off to sleep. He affectionate and purrs easily. Marcel loves being near his humans, exploring new spaces, and making friends with other cats and kittens. Marcel is a sweet kitten that been through a lot living outdoors in the heat, perhaps dumped, perhaps born to a stray mom and then struggled to find food and survive. This poor little guy was found skin and bones and starving in a Modesto neighborhood. One of our trappers quickly rescued him and his foster mom syringe fed him for several days to help him regain his strength. With round-the-clock care, high-calorie meals, and gentle nurturing from his foster parents, Marcel has steadily gained weight and is now thriving. True to his name, which means “little warrior,” he’s shown incredible resilience, courage, and a strong will to thrive despite the hardships he faced early in life. Marcel has been flea treated, dewormed, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
