Meet Casper & Snowball the Dynamic Duo of Sweetness Casper (distinguished gray gentleman) and Snowball (sleek black panther-void) may not be brothers by blood, but you’d never know it—they became fast friends while moving between foster homes and are now completely bonded. Where there’s one, you’ll usually find the other! Both boys share a serious passion for food. Nothing gets them more excited (and vocal!) than the sound of a Churu pack being opened or their wet food being served. At mealtime, they’ll circle your feet in pure joy, reminding you that dinner must not be late. Casper is the braver, more affectionate half of the pair. Once he feels comfortable, he’ll melt your heart with hugs, wrapping his paws around your neck whenever he’s nervous—looking to you to be his protector from all of life’s “monsters” (especially the vet!). He adores chin rubs, booty scratches, and may even drool with excitement during cuddle sessions. Endearing doesn’t even begin to describe him. Snowball, his handsome dark counterpart, is the quieter soul. He takes longer to warm up and may spend some time hiding at first. But once he feels safe, you’ll find him perched in a window, happily watching “cat TV” (birds and squirrels). He enjoys gentle pets and has polite boundaries—when he’s done, he’ll simply place a paw on you to say “thanks, that’s enough.” His foster mom will even send him home with his favorite apple bed, which doubles as his cozy safe spot and nail-trim hideaway. Together, Casper and Snowball make the perfect pair. They’ll thrive in a quiet, patient home without kids, and they’d be happy to have other friendly cats—or even a calm dog—around. In return, they’ll bring you companionship, laughter, and all the love (plus some mealtime serenades). Adopt these two cuddle bugs, and you’ll not only gain best friends—you’ll also become their hero against all of life’s “scary monsters.” Casper & Snowball are currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting them, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age-appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Casper & Snowball, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
