My story

Tim is a sweet and gentle 9-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is slowly discovering the joys of safety, love, and confidence. Since entering foster care, Tim has made steady progress from a timid and uncertain pup to one who’s slowly beginning to trust the world around him. House training has been a gradual journey, but with consistent attention and regular outdoor breaks, he’s showing promising improvements.  Though Tim is comfortable in his kennel when needed, he thrives in the company of people and other dogs, and is only left alone for short periods. His friendly nature shines through in his interactions. He gets along beautifully with adults, children, cats, and fellow dogs, making him a wonderful companion for a variety of households. Occasionally, he’ll whine when someone leaves the room, but he’s learning through routine and reassurance that his people always return.  Leash training is progressing, but he does best when he’s given space on a longer leash or tie-out for supervised outdoor time. Tim has shown to be a calm traveler. He handles car rides well, even on longer trips. With his low energy and affectionate demeanor, he’s happiest as a cozy couch companion. He savors good meals, peaceful naps, and the quiet comfort of being close to those he loves. Tim is ready to continue blossoming in a patient and nurturing home where he can truly thrive. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, dental, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
