My story

This handsome fellow is Clyde! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 8/12, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Clyde as a friendly boy; eager to please and attentive. He sits and stays nicely when asked, and he LOVES treats! Doesn't he have the most soulful eyes you've ever seen? Clyde is approximately 1 year old, and weighs 63 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Unfortunately, Clyde did test positive for heartworms, but with proper treatment and care he can go on to live a long and healthy life. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while he receives treatment. Clyde is waiting patiently in run 27; his ID # is 12720. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
