My story

Tilly-Bean was found left in a box at Fire Station #75, wrapped in a towel with water. It's likely she was abandoned because of her imperfect right eye — but as someone who already has two little “Winkies,” I can say they’re some of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. After my son rescued her, we partnered with K-9 Angels to have her damaged eye removed, and she’s been thriving ever since. Tilly is currently in foster care and looking for her forever home. Don’t let her size fool you — she can hold her own with the big dogs! She’s making great progress with potty training, settles nicely in her kennel, and absolutely loves to cuddle up next to her person. Her foster mom says, “She’s the sweetest little bean when she curls up next to me or the other dogs — and she’s obsessed with her toys.” Tilly is a Female Chihuahua/Shih Tzu Mix that we estimate to be born around 3/5/2025 and weighs 11 lbs.
