My story

Meet Norma, a 3-year-old, 46-pound Giant Schnauzer mix whose gentle spirit will steal your heart. She came to us from another shelter, carrying with her a quiet shyness and a cautious gaze. While we don’t know her full story, her eyes seem to whisper that it hasn’t always been easy. At first, Norma keeps to herself, carefully watching the world around her. But with patience and kindness, she begins to lean in—literally—melting into your shoulder as if to say, “I trust you now.” Those moments are pure magic, a reminder of how much love she has to give once she feels safe. Her beautiful brindle coat shines and her calm, peaceful nature makes her a comforting presence. Norma is still learning her potty training, but she’s already showing how much she wants to please. She just needs a quiet home and a gentle hand to help her continue her journey from shy to secure. If you’re looking for a loyal friend who will repay your patience with unconditional love, Norma is waiting to trust again Adoption fee is: $350 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
