My story

Meet Marmalade and Meringue! They were born too a mama kitty who was rescued by a Good Samaritan. She took in momcat, a skinny, sweet stray, who promptly gave birth to three kittens in her bedroom! The GS (who is keeping the mama) was able to find a home for one of the kittens, but with a house full of two legged and four legged kids of her own, she needed help in finding a home for these two, so Forgotten Felines of Culpeper brought them into care.Marmalade is a little buff/orange tabby kitten with white on his face, chest, and socks. He is little shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he loves a kiss on the nose and a lot of attention. He’s got a loud purr and uses it frequently. Meringue is a little long-haired, fluffy calico, independent and curious , but when she’s ready for a snuggle, she snuggles right in. She is the confident one in this duo and Marmalade often follows her lead. Both are very playful and affectionate, have been around children, cat-friendly dogs, and other cats so would do well in a variety of home situations. These two are bonded and must be adopted together.Both will be available for adoption in about two weeks, but can be preadopted now. Both are/will be dewormed, receive an FVRCP vaccine and a booster, a rabies vaccine, be spayed/neutered, combo tested negative, and microchipped with a lifetime registration.
