This 4-year-old black Labrador retriever beauty has a gentle spirit; a heart full of sweetness; and an overall easy, laid-back personality. She’s an absolute pleasure to walk, strolling at a steady pace, with lots of adorable sniffy detours along the way. She’s also polite with other dogs and friendly toward new people, though she may start out just a touch shy. But once the toys come out? Get ready for her playful side to shine, as Tessa turns into a zoomy, bouncy, bowing bundle of fun who loves a good game of fetch or tug. She can be a little “ruff” in her vocal enthusiasm during play, but it’s all part of her silly personality—this girl is more goofy than growly. She’ll happily share her toys and lets you take them back without fuss. Tessa knows her “sit,” will do “down” with a treat as a guide, and takes snacks gently. She’s affectionate, sweet-natured, and the perfect mix of calm companion and playful pup. Whether you’re looking for a gentle walking buddy or a silly playmate, Tessa is ready to be your loyal sidekick.
