My story

Hi, I’m Tucker — formerly known as Calzone! I’m a young grey-and-white tuxedo boy with a big personality and a lot of love to give (once I get to know you, of course). Life’s been a bit of a whirlwind lately — I came from Chicago Animal Control, and thankfully, I was taken in by one of the amazing vet partners at C.A.R.E., who gave me a warm, safe place to land. Now I’m starting fresh and learning how to settle into a more stable, loving life. I’ve had a lot of changes recently, so I’m still figuring things out. I can be a little overstimulated at times, especially when there’s too much going on — but with a patient, cat-savvy person, I’ll shine. I’ve got a high-energy spirit, a curious mind, and yes… a bit of a reputation for trying to sneak out when I see an open door. Let’s just say I like to keep things interesting. My old name was Calzone, which is kind of fitting — I’ve got layers, a little spice, and I’m full of personality. But these days I go by Tucker, and I’m hoping to find someone who’s ready to help me feel truly at home. If you’re looking for a playful, quirky companion with a big heart (and a touch of mischief), I might just be your guy. Come say hi — I’d love to meet you!
