My story

Mari is a loving, 18-month-old cat looking for her forever home!This beautiful tortie girl is super-sweet and loving! She spends her days playing with toys or perched on the windowsill. and her nights cuddling.As soon as you walk through the door, Mari comes running up to greet you! She will follow you everywhere for the first few moments after you come home, to let you know that she missed you. As soon as you sit down, she will sniff your nose and give it a little lick! When she finds a spot in the room that she likes, she will flop down instead of slowly lying down, which is the cutest thing. Be careful if she finds the perfect spot at the edge of a couch or bed, because when she flops down, there’s no telling where she will end up!This sweet girl is most active in the late afternoons and early evenings, while enjoying lazy mornings cuddled up in a blanket! She also loves playtime before bed and will sometimes get the zoomies!Mari is currently living in an apartment with two humans and one other cat. She is very respectful to the older cat, keeping her young with playful kitten antics.Her forever home is with affectionate people who will greet her when they walk through the door and give her morning snuggles! She seems to enjoy having a friend with her throughout the day so she’s not lonely, so a home with a friendly resident cat (or another Pet Haven cat) would be great. Mari has not been around dogs, so I do not know how she will react but she is also very curious and playful, so I don’t see her having any issues.She has had interactions with children and was great with them, but she also may occasionally playfully nip fingers from time to time; she has never scratched or bitten anyone, besides a mild nip here and there. I have met lots of cats before, and I would say she is the sweetest cat I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.
