My story

Mack has been a beloved member of his family for four years, but he is no longer getting along with the other dog in the home (they used to be best friends). Despite professional training with the two pups, this environment is proving to be stressful and unsafe for all involved. Mack deserves a home where he is safe, happy and comfortable.  Mack is high-energy and very intelligent. He easily learns commands and is eager to please. He walks well on a leash and is crate trained. He is great with kids and quickly warms up to new people. He gets along with cats, although he will try and herd them from time to time. Mack is very food motivated and will lie to you about when his last meal was. Don't be fooled! He loves to be active - walks and moderate difficulty hikes, but not a fan of water. An ideal home would have Mack as the only dog, with plenty of time exercising outdoors, and with very secure trash cans. He is on daily medications for seizures which are well-controlled. The meds cost about $50 per month. Mack is a great dog!
