My story

Hi! My name is Copper. I was surrendered by my previous owners on 7/28/25. Now I am looking for a new home. I`m a sensitive boy who will need a special type of home to thrive. I was declawed several years ago and have had trouble feeling comfortable since then. I may require a softer litter that`s easy on my paws, and a quiet household where I won`t feel overwhelmed or threatened. I can get overstimulated by too much petting and prefer to receive affection on my own terms. I would do best as an only pet, in a low traffic home with no children. I will benefit from having multiple places I can hide or get up high to feel safe. With the right type of home and some patience and love, I know I can be a great pet!You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
