My story

Meet Bella – A True Comeback Story. Bella’s story is one of resilience and hope. She was heartbreakingly abandoned at a shelter, severely underweight and too weak to eat, with a history of untreated illness. She was on the list to be euthanized — until a compassionate shelter team and our rescue stepped in. Since arriving in foster care, Bella has made an incredible transformation. With consistent care, nutritious food, and plenty of love, she’s gaining weight (currently a health 10 lbs!), getting stronger every day, and absolutely thriving. Bella is a gentle soul who wants nothing more than to be close to her human. She’s affectionate, cuddly, and happiest when she can snuggle up with someone. She would do best in a home with someone who is home most of the time and looking for a constant companion. She would do well in a home with calm and respectful children. She sleeps quietly through the night in her crate, though she’d happily trade it in for a cozy spot in bed with you. Her puppy energy is starting to shine through again (she's estimated to be 2 years old), so she’ll thrive with daily walks, playtime, and space to zoom around. While she gets along with other dogs, Bella would be just as happy (maybe even happier!) being your one and only, as long as you have the time and love to share with her. Bella is smart and eager to please. She’s learning mealtime manners, knows commands like sit, lay down, wait, and “go potty,” and continues to impress her foster family with her sweet, calm demeanor. While her long-term health journey is still unfolding, Bella is currently thriving on a special diet and daily care. She’s living proof of what love, patience, and a second chance can do.
