My story

386-286-2262 ADOPT LUCY! She is such a lover and loves to be held on your shoulder (like video), ask me in a text for me to send a video of her to you!!! As I can’t post here on adopt a pet. She needs to be the only pet please. This adoption is NOT through Furry Nation Salvation and is a Courtesy Post. Please call the individual listed below with any further questions or to set up a time to meet the pet. Thank you. Please call/text this number if interested: 386-286-2262 Cat located in this city: port orange Cat’s Name: Lucy Cat’s Age & Sex: 6 YO female Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): Lucy is spayed and vaccinated Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): She was abandoned outside so we took her in, but she isn’t getting along with other animals unfortunately. We love her so much but need to find her a home where she can be queen! I live with a family who has other pets (dogs annd cats) and it is not working out. Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): she can be shy at first until you get to know her. , She can be lazy, but also cuddly, loving, introvert, likes to be held on your shoulder too like video. LOVES to be touched, loves sitting in the sun or by an open window. Please give her time to open up to you. She is very shy and hidden at first, but will come and stay out once she feels safe. SHE just needs a family who will love her . She also loves men a little more! Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): I will give wet food (tuna) in bulk, along with her hard food, a litter box/ litter/ scooper all together, glass bowls she eats from, her fuzzy cat house and blanket, AND I have a cat carrier to give if needed. What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): Wet → she grew up on farmland so she likes raw chicken livers or raw chicken breasts. But she also eats canned tuna from Walmart; brand: starkist selects (chunk white albacore). She will not eat regular soft cat food from the cat section. Dry→ taste of the wild Prey angus beef or turkey (amazon). The rescue lady helping me post this cat says she is filling up on the dry food and why she has gotten so lucky on the wet food. If I limit the dry so she is hungry enough- she may eat more of the canned wet food. Learn more below why wet food is so important for less medical bills long term. :::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this). :::::::::::: More info here: FurryNationSalvation.Org/wetfood IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT: 1) Please show up with a cat carrier (if not, one will be provided for lucy) 2) Small adoption fee of: $10 I want a good home for her. 3) I will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well 4) Please show up with your Driver's License. 5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine) *Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you. Call/text me if interested in this kitty: 386-286-2262 ________________________________________________________________
