My story

Meet Dooley, a loving and sweet Lab/Hound/Retriever mix. He is estimated to be 5yr old, and weighs 55lbs. Dooley is a total goof ball who loves to roll around in the grass, sit on the deck and enjoy the day, or just be by your side for some pets. He loves to get attention, and once he bonds with you, he is the biggest sweetheart! Dooley is crate trained, house trained, and has good leash manners. This deserving boy was surrendered to an overcrowded shelter with his smaller canine companion, Tyson, due to their owner having life changes. He was terrified and shut down when BarkVille Dog Rescue swooped in to save them. Dooley has flourished in his foster home, and would love a forever family that will offer him a reliable and loving home. He prefers smaller low key dogs, and would be fine as the only pup in the house - no young, playful pups for this mature gentleman! If you&#39re looking for a beautiful, loyal, and easy-going boy, then Dooley is the dog for you! He would love to have a fenced yard where he can roam around, and older kids (10yr+) due to the possibility of knocking into little ones. Dooley is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
