My story

"Oakley is a 2-year-old Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix) with a heart full of love and a personality twice her size! Sweet, playful, and full of life, Oakley is the kind of dog who will make you smile every single day. She absolutely lives for cuddles. Your lap will instantly become her favorite place. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch or keeping you company while you work, Oakley is happiest when she’s close to her people. She gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats and kids making her a great fit for a variety of homes. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be everyone’s friend. Oakley’s journey hasn’t been easy. She recently endured the heartbreaking loss of her litter of puppies to parvo. Despite the grief and hardship, her resilience and capacity to love are truly inspiring. She deserves a home that will cherish her as much as she’ll cherish you. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a little sass and a lot of heart, Oakley just might be your girl. Oakley is around 20 lbs. She is hard at work on her house training skills, but this is her first time living in a home environment."
