My story

🐾 Meet Sadie — Sweet Sister, Full of Love 🐾 Sadie and her sister Sophie came into rescue together after being found as strays on the Colusa Indian Reservation. They spent two long months at the Colusa Animal Shelter — shy, fearful, and unsure of people. During that time, they clung to each other for comfort. Since coming into rescue, Sadie has blossomed. 🌸 She’s a little more stout than her sister, but just as gentle and affectionate. Sadie walks beautifully on leash, is housebroken, and has proven herself to be incredibly smart and quick to learn. Most of all, Sadie is a true love bug — affectionate, safe, submissive, and happiest when she’s close to her people. Because of all they’ve been through together, Sadie and Sophie are still very bonded. Ideally, we would love to see them adopted together, but we also know that sometimes siblings thrive when they find separate homes and can bond more fully with their new families.
