My story

* This pet lives in a foster home. Please fill out an inquiry form if interested in setting up a meet! *Are you currently thinking to yourself, `wow, look at this handsome bundle of delight, he would look so good in my home`? You`re so totally right! Hi, the name`s Gibby, or affectionately called `Gibbaayyy!`, `Geebs`, `Goober`, and `Special Agent Gibbs` by some of my friends. My social circle is pretty big, and I really want you and all your friends to join! Around here, I`m known for my full body wiggles, big smiles, my smart-as-a-whip brain, my tail that never stops wagging, and of course, my goofy doofy ways. I`m so eccentric that sometimes I forget my mouth manners, but I`ve learned so much about boundaries already, and I really want to be a very good boy for you! Besides, I LOVE food (it should probably be studied by scientists) so I`m super easy to train! But what I love most of all? Cuddling with my besties. I will get all cozied up with you, fall asleep in your lap, and wake up with the utmost JOY to see you still with me! The shelter environment was really hard, but since being in foster, we`ve learned so much about me. For example, I love the crate and snooze peacefully throughout the workday! I also love exploring the great outdoors on a long line, puzzle toys and stuffies, and dress-up. And not to brag, but I`m also a pro at tug and a treat-catching champion. So yeah, I`m kinda the whole package. I`m very polite in my house manners for the most part, but due to how over-eager I can be, I`d do best in a home without small fragile kiddos. I`m also not sure how I feel about cats yet, I would need a slow exposure. However, I do LOVE to romp around with my dog friends, so if you got a pack of pups already, I`d love to set up a meet-and-greet to see if we click! So, what do you think? Wanna give me a chance? I’ll be the wiggly one with the sweet face!This pet is part of our Foster-to-Adopt program. You will meet this pet more than once before entering into a 3-week trial placement in your home. You will be matched with a behavior expert to help you and your pet through any bumps in the road during the trial placement. When all parties agree it is a match, we finalize the adoption!
