My story

Princess A17729956 lb. spayed female, approx 4 years old -Are you looking for a fun and entertaining dog? Princess might be for you!-She is playful and spunky and absolutely loves toys!-“Keep away” seems to be her favorite game. She will run in circles around you with a toy….Then she’ll bring it close to you, and when you try to grab it she runs and dodges you. She’s fun!-She has no interest in treats at the moment. It’s all toy motivation!-She knows “sit”, “paw” and “lay down”-She enjoys pets once you wear her out from playing-She’ll give some kisses too-Pulls quite a bit on leash-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper introsUnknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
