My story

Introducing Grizzly! He was brought to the shelter on 8/2 because he was on a journey to find his way home and got lost. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. So he is on a quick search for a forever home that will keep him safe and secure so he doesn't have to experience a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Grizzly is only 5 years and 2 weeks old and weighs a mere 55lbs. The volunteers describe him as sweet, sweet, sweet, cute, and obedient. He is a little timid but that is understandable because this is not home for him. But volunteers are making him feel welcome and working with him to help is confidence grow. We believe in him! He is so quiet in his kennel you would never know he was there. He is also a smart young man as he knows to sit when asked and he may know more. Please take some time and visit with him in Run 826; his ID is 12440. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. When choosing a forever pup, please make sure you have the proper space, energy, time, devotion, love, and lifestyle to make sure that Grizzly has the best upbringing possible. Grizzly is current on vaccines, will be neutered and already microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Grizzly is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for his forever family to save his life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
