My story

Meet Honeybee! She’s is a playful, loyal, quirky girl who’s sure to steal your heart! Honeybee is about 2 years old and currently weighs about 45 pounds. With her gorgeous shepherd coloring, curly tail, and bright eyes, she’s a total head-turner. Now that she’s settled into her foster home, we’ve learned that Honeybee is potty trained, crate trained, and incredibly submissive. She’s sharing food, toys, and treats with the resident dogs—even eating out of the same bowl at the same time—with zero issues. She lets her grouchy little foster sibling take things right out of her mouth without so much as a side-eye, and she has no problem with people removing high-value items from her mouth either. She’s truly the sweetest, most gentle girl. Honeybee enjoys running and playing in the yard and loves splashing around in the doggy pool. She also has a hilariously quirky side—her favorite place in the house is the treadmill! She’ll hop on and jog beside her foster mom like it’s the most normal thing in the world. Who needs a dog bed when you have a workout machine? After everything she’s been through, Honeybee is more than ready to trade in survival mode for soft beds (or treadmills), belly rubs, and a family of her own. She’s good with other dogs, but would do best in a home without cats. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, quirky, and resilient companion, Honeybee might just be your perfect match.
