She’s the devoted mom of our “Surrender” litter, a beautiful family with names that reflect the hard truths we hear every day in rescue.Her name comes from one of the most common reasons we receive when people reach out to give up a beloved pet: “We’re moving and can’t take her with us.” Sometimes it’s circumstances beyond their control. Sometimes it’s lack of resources or options. But no matter the reason, cats like Moving are left behind—confused, displaced, and still full of love.Despite everything, Moving has been an incredible mama. She’s patient, nurturing, and protective, raising her babies with a kind of grace that’s hard to describe. Now that they’re growing up and starting to find their own way, it’s her turn to be cared for.Moving is more than just a surrender story. She’s resilient. She’s gentle.
