Meet Frannie! At about 7 years old, Frannie is a beautiful all-black mixed-breed sweetheart with a look (and heart) all her own. One of her cutest quirks? When her ears go back, she looks a bit like a meerkat—and it’s not just adorable, it’s also her way of showing she’s open, relaxed, and ready for love.Frannie came to us as a stray with another dog, and while she’s shown some interest in her furry friend, we’re still learning how she does with other dogs overall. With the right introduction, she could very well enjoy the company of a fur sibling.What we do know for sure is that Frannie is incredibly affectionate, easy to love, and always ready to soak up attention. Whether her ears are perked up in curiosity or gently folded back in invitation, she’s telling you the same thing: she’s ready to find her person and a forever home filled with love.If you would like to meet Frannie, please submit an application for her on our website https://www.friendsofmichigan.org/adoptable-dogs. She is spayed, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $250, which helps cover the cost of the medical care she has received.**Please note that the breed listed for each of our dogs is a rough estimate unless DNA results are provided in their Bio. All strays have rough estimates of their age based on the condition of their teeth.Each dog is different, so each adoption is different. Our adoption process might require multiple visits to the shelter before our dogs can go home. Or they may be ready on the first visit. It really depends on the individual dog and the potential adopters. Once we receive your application, the Dog Staff will contact you to discuss meeting our dogs.
