My story

Meet Nala! Nala was born on May 11, 2025 (Mother’s Day!) and looks to be a Carolina Dog (also known as an American Dingo) mixed with Husky. She is expected to be medium-sized when fully grown. Nala is a social pup who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, does well with cats, and enjoys having kids to play with. She’s crate-trained, keeping her wire crate clean every time, and she already knows the word “potty” when taken outside. Nala also knows “sit” and is eager to learn more—she’s a smart girl who loves to please! If Nala sounds like the perfect fit for your family, submit an application to set up a meet and greet. She truly is a gem waiting for her forever home. All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations.
