My story

Astrid is a very loving and playful snuggle bug. This 55lb 4 year old is trainable- food motivated and easy to verbally redirect. She is crate trained and potty trained. Good with dogs and cats. She is on the nervous side and gets stressed with a lot of noise or activity, no kids for this girl. She gets overwhelmed meeting new people coming into the house, but we have the perfect technique to get them acquainted in less than one minute! Once she knows you, she likes you. Her ideal home would be on the quieter side (meaning not a lot of new people frequently in and out, ideally a place without frequent walking traffic visible from the windows) with a family who will be consistent in working with her to build confidence (we’ll tell you all her rules, there aren’t many!) Bonus if you have experience working with nervous dogs. She will *require* a crate in her future home, it is her safe spot.
