My story

FIV+DOB: 7/29/2023 Guster! This handsome guy is quite the conversationalist—you’ll never be bored with him around. Not only does he love to chat, but he’s also a big fan of giving hugs to anyone who will let him. Guster came to us as an injured stray with a neck wound, but thanks to lots of care, he has healed beautifully and is ready for his happily-ever-after. Super sweet and endlessly social, Guster is the kind of cat who will follow you around just to be part of whatever you’re doing. If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate companion who will keep you entertained and shower you with love, Guster is your guy! Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection.  FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered.
