My story

Tiny lapdog alert! Anyone looking for the world's most adorable velcro pup? Spirit is 6 pounds of wiggling, waggling, kissing cuteness. She loves all humans, but is especially loyal to her people, and she can't wait to find a family who will cuddle and fawn over her every day. If you're looking for a little lap warmer to keep you company while you binge Netflix or work from home, Spirit is your girl. She's the kind of gal who likes to work out her zoomies then settle in for a good cuddle. As long as her people are there and she's part of the party, she's happy! Aptly named for her resilience and enthusiasm, Spirit has a whole lot of character packed into one tiny body. At only 4 months old, she has growing to do, but she'll still be a pint sized pup. But don't let her size fool you--she's an athletic, coordinated little girl with an intelligent and curious nature. Her motto is "I can and I will". Steps? Furniture? Cat doors? No problem for Spirit! This sweet and spicy treat can do it all. She's been doing a great job acclimating to her foster family's group of resident pets. She's very respectful of the resident dog, and she's learning how to conduct herself around kitties. Though she could thrive in a home with other pets, her focus is definitely on hoomans, so we think she could also fly solo in the right situation. She's still working on some of the basics--potty training, leash walking, and using her indoor voice--but she's a clever girl, so we think she'll pick it all up in no time with continued training. We have a feeling this little nugget won't be on the market long, so scoop her up while you have the chance! The adoption fee for this puppy is $475, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. A $250 spay/neuter deposit is required at time of adoption. This fee covers spay/neuter at one of PetConnect's preferred veterinary partners. If the adopter chooses to use their own veterinarian, the deposit will be returned with proof of sterilization. Petconnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care.
