Meet Cowboy! Cowboy is a sweet, affectionate boy who’s ready to ride into someone’s heart! He can be a little shy at first—approaching slowly with his head lowered and ears back—but it doesn’t take long before he’s saddling up for love, sitting right next to you, and simply enjoying being by your side. Once he’s comfortable, his warm personality shines through, and he’s happy just to be near his people.We don’t have history on how Cowboy does living with other dogs, but when meeting one at the shelter, he showed friendly behavior and a higher-energy play style. A dog-to-dog meet is always recommended to make sure play styles align. Because he can be a bit nervous in new situations, Cowboy may do best with older children who can recognize when he needs space and respect his boundaries.
