My story

Meet Scoops!Scoops is a sweet and curious boy who’s always ready for an adventure! He previously lived with another male dog and did very well, though at the shelter he showed some initial nervousness around new dogs. With a little time, he warmed up and showed friendly behavior, but he tends to avoid dogs with very high-energy play styles. Slow, gradual introductions will be best for him, and a dog-to-dog meet is always recommended to make sure play styles are a good fit.In his previous home, Scoops lived with two three-year-olds and an eleven-year-old and did wonderfully with them. During his assessment at the shelter, he was friendly with staff but a little distracted by all the new sights and smells—though he still made time to pop over to say hi. He’s very treat motivated, loves going for walks, and is sure to make a fun, affectionate, and loyal companion for a family who’s ready to welcome him home!Stop by and meet Scoops today!
