My story

Ray Charles is a 4-month-old special needs kitten looking for a forever home. Both eyes had tobe removed due to an infection when he was itty-bitty. Introducing a blind cat to your home isn’t as difficult as you might imagine, just a little more time to learn the surroundings and acclimate to new scents and environments. Ray is smart as a whip! He climbs, plays and explores the house as if he had eyes, and doesn’t mind an occasional “boink” into walls when he is at warp speed.Ray is a “ be near you cat” and loves to follow us around – he is an affectionate, fearless, and playful tiger tabby.Ray is litterbox trained, gets along with dogs, and is beginning leash training.Ray is being fostered through Jacksonville Animal Care and Protective Services, 2020 ForestSt., (904) 630-2489.If you are looking for a lively, confident kitten who enjoys snuggling after playtime, Ray Charles isyour kitten!!
