My story

Meet Marie Laveau  This special girl may only have vision in one eye, but that doesn’t stop her from living life to the fullest! Marie Laveau was at risk in the shelter in North Carolina, due to her medical condition, but thanks to us, she now has the chance to find the loving home she deserves. She has a condition called Microphthalmia, which means her left eye is very small and doesn’t function; but don’t worry, she sees the world just fine with her right eye. More importantly, she’s described as sweet, happy, and full of love. Marie Laveau is ready to start her new chapter with a family who will cherish her for the joyful, resilient pup she is. Could that be you? All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption.
