My story

Meet Angelo! With his striking sky-blue eyes, this 2 years old, 50-pound terrier mix is an affectionate boy who loves life’s simple joys—butt scratches, snuggles, and soft toys (which he sometimes forgets mid-play in the most endearing way).  While Angelo is sweet and loving, he’s also a pup with a past. He can be uncomfortable if people get too close to his face or mouth, and he prefers to keep his food to himself. He’s also working on his leash manners, and will need continued training. These little quirks suggest he’s still learning to fully trust, and he’ll do best with a dog-savvy adopter who can offer patience, structure, and understanding as he continues to blossom. Angelo is ok with other dogs, with a slow introduction, but he should be in a home without children. Angelo is a truly good boy at heart —he just needs the right person to help him feel safe, secure, and loved forever.
