My story

Hi, I’m Mizu. I’m a petite little Husky mix, just 1–2 years old, with striking light blue eyes that everyone falls in love with right away. I’ve been on crate rest while I heal from a leg injury and go through heartworm treatment, but that hasn’t stopped me from showing my sweet and playful personality. I’m already crate trained and very comfortable spending time in my crate—it feels like my safe space. Potty training is still a work in progress since I haven’t had much chance to practice a routine yet, but once I’m off crate rest, I’ll get the hang of it quickly! I get along great with other dogs and even cats, which makes me a wonderful companion in a home with furry friends. I haven’t been around kids much, but I’m gentle and petite, so I think I’d do well with them too. When it comes to walking on a leash, I’ve only been allowed on short walks for now, but I do well. Once I’m cleared for more activity, I’ll need some practice with longer walks and distractions, but I’m eager to learn. My best traits? I’m sweet, playful, and friendly with both dogs and cats. I can be a little timid at first, but once I warm up, I’ll show you how affectionate I really am. I’m also pretty talkative—sometimes I bark more than I howl, but hey, I like to keep conversations interesting! What makes me special is not just my petite size or my stunning eyes, but the way I blossom with love and trust. I may have had a rough start, but I’m ready to heal, learn, and share all the affection I’ve been saving for my forever family.
