My story

Hi, I’m Walter — and I’ve got a story to tell (plus some seriously awesome ears)! I’m only 2.5 months old, but I’ve already been through a lot. When I was rescued, I was covered in cuts, scrapes, and puncture wounds — no one knows exactly what happened, and I can’t say either. But thanks to the amazing people who got me the care I needed, I’m feeling so much better now. A few weeks of medicine, medicated baths, and nonstop love have helped me heal up — and now I’m ready to find my forever family. I’m told I have the best ears — they kind of stand up tall but tilt off to the side in the most charming way. I say it gives me character! I also really love being close to my people, especially at your feet. If you work from home, I’m your guy — quiet, loyal, and always happy to keep you company. I get along so well with other dogs and I’m great with kids, too. My foster family has two little humans (ages 2.5 and 5), and I’m super gentle and playful with them. I sleep through the night in my crate, and I’m almost fully house-trained — I’m learning fast! Nobody knows exactly what kind of dog I am, but I’ll probably grow into a medium-sized pup with a big heart and an even bigger personality. My fur is still growing back in, but my foster mom says I’ll be back to full handsome-mode in no time. I’ve come a long way — now all I need is a family to call my own. Could that be you?
