My story

Meet Sweet Indy   A beautiful girl with the soul of an angel.  Sometimes we just try and try to give them a good life and then more of life gets in the way and side-tracks the best of efforts.  Originally,  this sweet girl was pulled from a nasty local shelter known for euthanizing way too many dogs and never feeding them either while at the shelter.  This poor girl was pulled from the shelter and adopted to a wonderful family who has now fallen on hard times and cannot keep her.  She is about 2.5 years old and now 45 pounds.  She is housebroken and is the most gracious girl in spirit and temperament.  She exudes kindness and a vibrant but calm spirit of love and acceptance of all that surrounds her.  Indy is EXCELLENT with other dogs and great with cats. All this girl has ever wanted was to be loved and know she’s safe!  She was for a year and now we wanting to help her transition carefully and easily from a home to yet another one that is stable and final.  She needs some finality in her life.  A forever place that will embrace this very gentle, very quiet girl that has been through a lot of changes in her life.  She is also crate trained but honestly doesn't need one because she is so good on her own alone.  Maybe there is a family or a person out there that needs to give a part of themselves to this girl who will take what you give and return it to you ten times greater.  Critter Cavalry Rescue would ask that you email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and ask for an adoption form .  We transport from Tennessee where she is fostered and come to the northeastern states almost every weekend.   We can make a long distance adoption easy and we stand behind all out adoptions.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comAugust 24, 2025, 9:31 pm
