Meet Mr. Goodbar — a senior boy with a heart as sweet as chocolate! This 12-year-old, 15 lb gentleman may be a little older, but that means he’s perfected the art of snuggles and snoozes. 💛Mr. Goodbar was found wandering the streets of Houston, still wearing his collar, but sadly no one came for him. Now safe in foster care, he’s searching for a forever family who will shower him with the love he’s always deserved.🥹He’s a quiet, low-energy boy who lives for the cozy stuff: napping while you work, curling up in your lap, or being wrapped up in your arms!🐾Mr. Goodbar does have a small mass that will be removed in the upcoming weeks, and we discovered he has a heart murmur. But don’t worry—he can still live a comfortable, happy life with his daily medication (pimobendan & cardalis), which he takes twice a day like a champ! 💊✨With his gentle soul and chocolate-sweet heart, Mr. Goodbar is proof that the best things in life are soft, sweet, and a little bit senior. Could he be your forever cuddle buddy? To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.https://longwayhome.org/apply ❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mr. Goodbar, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
