My story

Meet Rose! Rose is a 3-year-old, 44-lb sweetheart who has overcome a rough start and is now ready for her happily-ever-after. Once living on a chain outdoors with her seven puppies, Rose endured tough conditions—but her resilience and gentle spirit shine through. Today, Rose is healthy, spayed, and thriving. She’s friendly with people, great with other dogs, and even does well with cats. She’s also fully potty trained and well-behaved in the home. This loving mama has left her hardships behind and is ready to blossom in a forever family that will shower her with the love she’s always deserved. With her gentle soul and easygoing nature, Rose is sure to bring warmth and joy to her new home. All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fee: $225 for all dogs and puppies.
