My story

Inky is spayed and READY TO GO HOME!!!Inky is a confident lady who knows what she wants and isn't shy about taking the lead! She has a bit of a "boss" vibe when playing with other dogs so it is best if she goes to a home with no other dogs.Inky is under 40 lbs, easy to collar, walks calmly past barking dogs, knows "sit," and takes treats gently. She's affectionate, loves cuddles, and is quick to come when called, making her a loyal and loving companion.Inky recently went on an outing with a volunteer. Here is what they had to say: "We went to Shelley Lake Park where she had a great time. She behaved so well on the leash and was not reactive to other dogs or people...she behaved better than my dogs at home! We then went to a pet store to pick out a treat and toy where she was, again, really well behaved. I met my husband for lunch and we ate outside (she carried her new toy inside), and she was calm and content hanging out under the table while we ate. We also went to Starbucks where she got lots of love and devoured her pup cup! Between all the car rides she was a great passenger, with no anxiety or restless behavior. She seemed to LOVE riding in the car!" Be sure to check out her video of her playing with her new toy!If you're interested in learning more about her, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Inky 259357".She is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and already spayed. If you have cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 43 Age: 4yrs 4mths 0wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Inky, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
