My story

Meet Remi | Apply Here Remi is a loving 1 year old, 22lb Rat Terrier mix that we pulled from ACC’s at-risk list as soon as we were notified. We’re not quite sure of her past as Remi came to ACC as a stray, but we have a feeling she’s known the love of a home once before. Remi immediately knew the luxuries of a home and began playing and lounging around right off the bat. She’s extremely loving and intelligent, so far we’ve figured out she knows hi-five, paw, sit, and (lay) down. Remi enjoys her walks outside and has shaped up on her leash etiquette rather quickly! As she continues to learn the ins and outs of being mindful and demure, she’d thrive as an only child with a confident adopter. Inside, she definitely likes to be wherever her people are. She’ll move room to room with you just to hang out; she isn’t overly needy, she just wants to be in your company. Being a puppy, she’s always down for play time too and absolutely loves playing tug-of-war - she is a strong little gal! Remi will be making her event debut this weekend!!
