Benjamin is a 4-year-old Shepherd mix, weighing 55 pounds, with the sweetest spirit and a heart full of love. This beautiful boy has already been through so much, and now he&#39s about to begin heartworm treatment--a journey he deserves to go through in the comfort of a loving home, not the cold walls of a boarding facility. Benjamin is everything you could hope for in a companion: he has a medium-to-higher energy level and loves to play, but he slows down quickly and is just as happy to relax by your side. He&#39s good on the leash, knows basic commands, and is a smart, eager-to-learn pup who thrives on both activity and affection. He&#39s wonderful with kids and other dogs, never dramatic, always gentle. A backyard would be a bonus for him, but daily walks and playtime will make him just as content. Most of all, Benjamin just wants to share life with his people. This affectionate boy is neutered, vaccinated, potty trained, and crate trained--ready to move right into a home where he can heal and blossom. Benjamin doesn&#39t need much--just a foster or forever family who can give him the warmth, security, and love every dog deserves.
