My story

All Hail Empress: Ruler of Fetch & Belly Rubs! Empress is a happy, affectionate, and playful girl looking for her forever home! At 4 years old and 58 lbs, she’s the perfect mix of youthful energy and grown-up smarts in the best size. She absolutely loves toys — especially squeaky or crunchy ones — and will even bring them to you for a game of fetch. When she’s done playing, she tries to put her toys away like the polite pup she is! Empress already knows several basic commands like sit, paw, and stay (she’s still working on perfecting them). She’s very responsive to voice direction and eager to please. She's also doing much better with leash walking thanks to her new training harness, and is learning how to stay calm around new people — she’s just so excited to make friends! Empress is superbly house-trained but although she is crate-trained, she prefers being out and close to her people. Empress previously lived with multiple cats and is showing a lot of patience with the resident cats in her foster home. She’s respectful during supervised time and doing well with daily introductions. She’s also reportedly friendly with other dogs and has lived in a home with young kids, teens, and adults.
