Yukon

My story

Yukon (blue eyes) is now available for adoption. Despite having a sad story, he and his brother, Denali, are loving and resilient dogs who love everyone they meet. What we have learned is that these beautiful boys were abandoned by their owner in a home for 3 months without electricity. They survived by sharing food with a person who was also abandoned in the home who was unable to fully care for himself. They are currently underweight at 50 lbs but show no food or resource aggression. We also learned they are 2 years old and husky/pit mixes. They are great with other dogs and are available for adoption together or separately. They are crate trained and potty trained, and show no barrier aggression. Their foster says they are very sweet and listen well. They are full of energy but do calm down and snuggle. We believe they would do well with kids. They are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, and on prevention
