My story

Meet Brooks, our curious 1-year-old adventurer! This spirited explorer loves being on the move and taking in everything around him—whether it’s checking out what’s up in a tree, sniffing behind a bush, or keeping tabs on the world around him. Brooks would likely make an excellent running or hiking companion, as he prefers being out and about rather than sitting still.While he loves staying active, Brooks will pause for quick breaks to enjoy some pets before heading off to his next discovery. He’s shown polite curiosity toward other dogs, walking by without pulling or barking. After his outings, Brooks sometimes whines a bit when returning to his kennel—after all, life outside is much more exciting for a young pup like him! Brooks is ready to find an active family who can match his adventurous spirit and give him the world to explore.Brooks has met other dogs at the shelter, he is a social playful boy!Come to BARCS to meet Brooks!
