My story

NOTE TO "PERSON" who dumped me......."You slowed down just enough to push me out of the truck... I didn’t understand. I was confused. I thought it was a mistake. So I ran after you, as fast as my legs would carry me... hoping you'd stop. Hoping you'd come back. You didn’t. But a sweet lady saw it all happen. She pulled over, scooped me up, and told me everything was going to be okay. I didn’t know what was happening, but she was kind. She saw me when you didn’t. I was a mess — covered in mats so thick they had to shave me for hours just so I could feel relief again. I was filthy, but they bathed me gently, like I mattered. And for the first time in a long time… I felt like I did. They gave me a new name: Buc-ee. It feels like a fresh start. And I like it. I still don’t understand why you left me... maybe I never will. But I do know this: I’m safe now. I’m loved. And I’m a happy boy again. I'm ready to find my forever family — the one who’ll never give up on me. At my foster home I have other doggies and kitties to play with. I pretty much make friends with everyone. I do like to be a little terrorist and chase the kitties until they smack the heck out of me. My foster mom says I'm a hyper little boy because I'm always up to something. Finally when no one wants to play with me then its nap time. Good with other dogs. Good with cars. Potty trained but occasional accidents if you don't take me out on time.
