š¶ Hi there! My name is Sugar, and Iām a 7-month-old Jindo-Spitz mix boy, currently weighing about 9.8kg (21.5 lbs). š¾ I was born in a city shelter, but I was lucky to be rescued when I was just 2 weeks old. I grew up safe and happy for about 4 months with my mom and siblings. These days, Iām living with my siblings while my mom gets some training help, and Iām learning so much every day! People say Iām sweet, social, and gentle, and I really love being around peopleākids included! I warm up to new faces quickly and get along great with other dogs. Iāve got that classic puppy energy and playfulness, so sometimes I might let out a little growl while playing, but donāt worryāI'm never aggressive! Once I get to know you, Iām a bundle of joy and love, and usually pretty calm when Iām not goofing around. I donāt bark much at allājust a little when somethingās unfamiliar. I love food (like, really love it!), but I also know how to share with my doggy friends. So far, I havenāt shown any signs of food allergies. I prefer doing my business outside and am still learning how to stay consistent, especially in new placesābut with gentle, patient training, Iāll get there! Iām doing really well with crate training, and I ride calmly in the car, even if it still feels a little strange to me. Iām still figuring out the whole leash-walking thing, but I do my best to follow along. Iām also at that chewy puppy stage, so Iāll need good chew toys to help me stay healthy and out of trouble. For about two months, I lived with a foster family who taught me how to live peacefully with humans and learn basic manners. Thanks to them, Iām already used to home life and should transition smoothly to a new family. But⦠hereās something important: Iāve never been apart from my family and siblings for long, so if I move far awayālike to Canadaāit might be hard for me at first. I could feel some separation anxiety or nervousness with the big change. But with patience, structure, and love, I know Iāll settle in just fine. š If you can help me get used to being alone slowly (short outings, getting comfortable with crates, car rides, and new places), plus give me lots of sniffy walks, playtime, and chew toysāIāll be on my way to becoming a confident, well-adjusted pup. Since Iām still young and learning, Iāll need someone whoās ready to guide me with positive reinforcement and patience. Iām not overly hyper, and my calm nature combined with just the right amount of puppy energy makes me a great match for a loving family. If youāre looking for a sweet, smart pup to grow up by your side⦠Iām your Sugar. š
