Galvin

My story

Handsome Galvin is just 1 year old and 61 lbs. This sweet Lab mix has already been failed by humans twice—found as a stray, returned to his owner, and then picked up as a stray just days later. Volunteers describe Galvin as a total sweetheart with that classic Lab personality. He leashed up easily, did his business outside, and didn’t react to other dogs as he walked by their kennels. His temp test went great—he can be a little forward with play, but nothing some basic manners training won’t fix. He’s food-motivated, well-mannered with treats, and even sat and posed for photos. In his kennel, he was calm and quiet, but once outside, he showed his affectionate side with kisses and snuggles. He’s a big, goofy puppy who just wants to be close to his people.
