My story

Meet Ghost (a.k.a. Pat!)Pat—nicknamed after Patterson Park, one of his favorite hangouts—is probably the sweetest and sleepiest boy around. By 9 p.m., his eyes are heavy, and if you invite him to the sofa, he’ll scoot closer and closer until he’s curled up right next to you. He’s got the cutest little bashful smile and absolutely melts for pets and neck scratches.Pat is a dream on walks: no pulling, takes care of business quickly, and strolls politely by your side. He’s been perfectly housetrained in foster and knows “sit,” taking treats ever so gently (though he’ll happily accept more—this boy is food-motivated!).During the day, Pat is the definition of easy—his foster dad works from home, and Pat simply snoozes on the comfiest spot he can find. He’s dog-social and coexists peacefully with his foster brother. Toys are still a bit of a mystery—he’ll take them from you with interest but isn’t sure what comes next, which only adds to his goofy charm. Pat is an overall easy, gentle companion who’s ready to find his forever snuggle spot.Pat has met other dog pals at BARCS, he is playful with his friends.Pat is currently in the comfort of a foster home.
